1. Sierra Vista nearest shopping 2. Ramsey Canyon Preserve (now park without reservations, or park at Brown Canyon and hike to the Az/Crest Trail) 3. Upper Carr Canyon Parking Area, 8300 feet (highest in the Huachucas). Trails lead to the AZ/Crest Trail (hike from here to Beatty's). Carr Reef has a good overlook into Miller. 4. Miller Canyon Trailhead, three miles from Hwy 92 (hike from here to the Az/Crest Trail). Beatty's is located uphill as you enter the parking area.

5. Coronado Memorial, There is a road to backside of Huachucas that goes to Parker
lake. In the pass there is a paved trailhead where you can catch the AZ/Crest Trail
and hike 12 miles to Beatty's.
